I come from a family of artists. My mother was a painter and my father a musician. I studied at the Rhode Island school of Design and the Corning Museum of Glass. My work has been both 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional, exploring oils, acrylics, ink on paper as well as welding, working in lost wax casting and other mixed media in my sculpture work.
I live in Rhode Island and am active in the historic museum and arts community.
My paintings encompass landscapes, still life and abstract.
I have exhibited throughout New England as well as the Bahamas. My work is in private collections in Paris and Australia.
For over a decade, I was an exhibiting artist member of the historic Providence Art Club and a member of the International Sculpture Society. My work has been exhibited at the Mystic Art Museum, the Scott Bundy Gallery in Maine, the Newport Art Museum, DuBlois Gallery, Spring Street Gallery in the Bahamas, Sheldon Fine Art in Newport, Edith Wharton's mansion, The Mount, in the Berkshires and the Bristol Art Museum, to name a few. I was Chairman and Director of Exhibition at the Bristol Art Museum for 2 years.
